Handicap - Each participant will be allowed 70% of ther course handicap. (Must have an active and verifiable USGA recognized handicap to be eligible for NET prizes)
Format - A modified 1-Person Scramble. Rather than being able to hit each shot twice, each player will be allowed two (2) mulligans per hole.
Double Mulligan Rule - Each player will be allowed to hit two (2) “mulligans” on each hole. Players cannot use more than one mulligan on one shot (only one mulligan per shot). Mulligans can be used on any shot you choose tee through green, including putts. Players will choose their best shot and mark the ball within one club-length, no closer to the hole, and continue play. Players may not use the one club-length to extricate themselves from a hazard, bunker, or rough. Players may not use the one club-length to move onto the putting surface. Players may not use the one club-length rule while on the putting surface or on the fringe of the green, instead each player will be allowed to move their golf ball within six (6) inches of the original rest point. Unused mulligans cannot be “carried over” to the next hole. The decision to use a mulligan must be immediately decided to do so at the time each shot has been taken.
How Mulligans Work - If you select to use a mulligan you then place a second ball within the same hitting area of the original shot and proceed to hit a second shot. You now will choose the better of the two (2) shots and continue play. In circumstances your original shot has a better outcome from your “mulligan” shot, you do not have to play your “mulligan” shot. Remember, only one (1) mulligan per shot and no carrying over unused mulligans to the next hole.
Rotating Tees Are In Effect - Birdies and better require you to move back one set of tees on the next hole until you are maxed out at the Black tee complex. Bogeys or worse require you to move forward one set of tees on the next hole until your are maxed out at the Bronze tee complex. Pars remain on the same tee complex. (Example - If you start on the Gold tees and make a bogey, you will play the second hole fromn the Silver tees. If you make a par on that hole you will play the third hole from the Silver tees. If you birdie the third hole you will play the fourth hole from the Gold tees.)
